序

       饒宗頤學術館之友的創辦，是為了支持香港大學饒宗頤學術館，參與及推動其活動，並為學術館之建設與發展提出寶貴意見和建議，以及提供經濟上的支持。由二零零四年註冊成立至今的十五年中，饒宗頤學術館之友至今已支持及參與多項由學術館主辦或合辦的活動或項目，包括研究、展覽、出版、研討會及講座等。

       為慶祝饒宗頤學術館之友成立十五周年慶典，香港大學饒宗頤學術館特別選取饒教授書法及繪畫作品共九件（套），舉辦「饒學光輝共燦——饒宗頤學術館之友成立十五周年特展」。是次展品數量雖然不多，卻反映出饒教授在書畫藝術上不斷尋求發展的精神，亦希望藝術愛好者能一同感受其作品中長流不息的生命力。

Foreword

       The aims and objectives of the establishment of Jao Tsung-I Petite Ecole Fan Club (JPE Fan Club) are to support Jao Tsung-I Petite Ecole of The University of Hong Kong, participate in and promote events held by the Petite Ecole, and give valuable opinions and suggestions for the purpose of further developing the Petite Ecole, as well as provide financial assistance. Since 2004, JPE Fan Club has been supporting numerous activities and events organized or co-organized by the Petite Ecole, including research projects, exhibitions, publications, academic symposiums, forums, and so on.

       As a celebration of the Fan Club’s 15th anniversary, we have selected 9 sets of paintings and calligraphy by Professor Jao and launched the special exhibition “The Luminous Splendor of Jao Studies: In Celebration of the 15th Anniversary of the Establishment of Jao Tsung-I Petite Ecole Fan Club”. Even though there are not many exhibits, they reflect Professor Jao’s spirit of ceaseless pursuit of the development of Chinese art. We sincerely invite all the art lovers to experience the endless vitality through his artworks.
